So long story short – my skin before discovering Korean Skincare was, perhaps you could say – a monumental disaster (dry skin, acne, and dullness). I have tried out skincare, especially sunscreens, from multiple reputed brands but none of them seem to sit right with my skin type (I have dry skin and get hormonal acne). After a few days, the product arrived, I was quite excited yet nervous at the same time. I tried the product the same day (it was sunny) and I was literally flabbergasted at how lightweight and soothing this Korean sunscreen was. If there’s one thing I learnt from my experience with sunscreens is – try it religiously for two weeks and if it’s giving you whitecast or breakouts or both at the same time, stop. I’ve been using this for 3 months now. No breakouts, no whitecast, just a woman in love with her new found HG (holy grail).

Texture of the COSRX Aloe Sunscreen
First off, I was impressed with the texture of the sunscreen. It’s lightweight and gets easily absorbed, without leaving any greasiness or stickiness behind. It also has a pleasant, subtle scent that’s not overpowering.

So, as I’ve mentioned earlier, the question of the moment I had to face was – was it lightweight? I have very dry skin, and I often struggle to find products that provide enough hydration without feeling heavy or greasy. This Aloe Sunscreen was a game-changer in that regard. It left my skin feeling soft, supple, hydrated and moisturized, without any tightness or discomfort.

How I use the COSRX Aloe sunscreen
As for me, I use the Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50+ as the final step in my daily skincare routine, before applying makeup. Noramlly, I reapply every 2-3 hours, or more frequently if I’m sweating after a run or after swimming. Remember to always use sunscreen as directed and to avoid prolonged sun exposure, especially during peak hours when the sun is strongest.
The COSRX sunscreen lasts about a month
The length of time a pack of COSRX Aloe Sunscreen would last depending on how frequently you use it. If you use it daily and follow the recommended guidelines of reapplying every 2-3 hours when outdoors, a 50mL pack may last for about a month. However, if you use it less frequently, it may last longer.
CONCLUSION
