Being a mom, a lot of women and moms ask me, how do you do it? How do you manage to juggle work, children and family and how do you manage to keep a fit body and stay in good health. And I’m going to share with you, my secret.
If you have received my previous mail, you know how important self-love and self-care time is to me. This is something that I have consistently followed over the years and has made a huge impact in my life.
As I get older, I know that just as my body needs exercises to be fit, our face too needs exercise to make sure it looks toned and doesn’t sag. While I want to accept ageing gracefully, I also want to maintain my youthfulness and make sure I look good even while ageing.
Recently, I was really inspired after watching the Korean movie ‘Mr Queen’ where the mother queen asked her maid-in-waiting to massage her face to get healthy, plump-looking skin. No doubt, the queen mother’s skin was glowing and toned, I sighed to myself that I want that toned, lifted skin and have it for as long as possible!
I follow a ritual, first thing every morning, I always drink a hot glass of lemon and honey water and 3X a week I do stretches, Yoga or Pilates which helps me to maintain a healthy body. After all the sweat and workout, I follow up with a masking routine.
For this, I love using the I’m From Ginseng Mask because of its detoxifying and heating properties. As I have oily skin prone to clogged pores and pigments, Ginseng really helps to clarify my skin. This is the time I follow some facial massages on my face and neck after which I finally wash off the mask. Ginseng Mask has heating properties similar to ginger, so it heats up skin when massaged. This stimulates blood circulation and helps to tone and clarify the skin.
